Application 1st grade
Application 2nd to 6th grade

Since we teach each subject in English the language requirements in our school are rather high. Each child applying for the first grade has to go through a test in which we will assess both her or his English language skills and school readiness. As Finnish is also taught, either as native or as a second language, the school readiness test is extremely important to assess whether a child will be able to thrive in a bilingual environment.

The test consists of three parts:

1-A group test. (This test measure your child passive and conceptual understanding of English.
2-The school readiness test, which can be administered in either English, Finnish or Swedish.
3- An individual interview. (This test measure your child's active understanding and communicative skills in English)

Children applying for other grades will have an individual test to assess both their academic as well as English language skills.
